Data Collector

A device or person responsible for gathering and recording surveying measurements and information in the field.

datalogger

A datalogger is an electronic device that automatically records measurements from sensors at predetermined intervals for later analysis and storage.

datum

A fixed reference point or surface used as the basis for measuring positions, elevations, and distances in surveying and mapping.

Datum Transformation

The mathematical process of converting geographic coordinates from one reference system to another.

Deed

A legal document that transfers ownership of real property from one party to another.

deformation monitoring

The process of measuring and analyzing changes in the shape, position, or dimensions of structures and geological formations over time using specialized surveying techniques.

DSM
